Overview

The Automatic 4WD Shifter Bezel is an OEM-style replacement for the factory center shifter bezel used in automatic-transmission 1st Gen Toyota 4Runners and 2nd Gen Toyota Pickups with 4WD. It replaces the brittle original plastic trim while retaining the factory-style shape, mounting geometry, and center-console fitment.

The bezel is produced with industrial Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) from glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide. The material is strong, heat resistant, chemical resistant, and slightly flexible, making it better suited to repeated installation and normal interior use than an aged factory bezel.

Material & Construction

Selective Laser Sintering fuses powdered material into a dimensionally consistent finished component without the pronounced filament layer lines associated with conventional FDM printing. The glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide construction provides the rigidity needed to maintain bezel geometry while retaining enough resilience for installation and regular cabin use.

Paint & Color Matching

Choosing the Correct Center Shifter Components

This bezel is specifically for the 4WD automatic-transmission layout. Vehicles with a manual transmission require a different bezel; see the Flintstone Fab Manual Shifter Bezel rather than adapting the automatic bezel. If the removable storage pocket used with the center shifter trim is also cracked or missing, the Shifter Bezel / Center Console Pocket is available separately. The pocket is an optional restoration component and is not required simply to replace this bezel.
