Overview

This ARP cylinder-head stud kit replaces the head-bolt arrangement with studs, twelve-point nuts and washers for Toyota 20R, 22R, 22RE and 22R-TE engines.

The 8740 chromoly hardware supports stock-rebuild and machined performance-engine applications.

Fitment Notes

• Does not fit 3VZ-E V6 or L / 2L / 2L-T diesel engines.
• Valve-cover modification may be required for clearance above the front two studs and nuts.
• Higher-clamp-load builds require matching torque-plate-honed cylinder bores. The stock-rebuild clamp-load configuration is a separate build choice.
• Aftermarket cylinder heads or valve covers, altered rocker hardware, heavily decked surfaces and repaired block threads require build-specific fitment assessment.
