Overview

The ARP Pro Series Cylinder Head Stud Kit is a performance-grade cylinder head fastening upgrade for Toyota 4A-GE 16-valve and 4A-GZE engines, used in the 1983–1987 JDM Corolla AE86, 1985–1987 U.S.-Market Corolla Sport GT-S, 1984–1989 Toyota MR2 and 1987–1991 JDM Toyota Corolla AE92 coupes and 1988–1991 U.S.-Market Corolla GT-S AE92 coupe applications.

The kit replaces the factory cylinder-head fasteners with 8740 chromoly steel studs, 12-point nuts, and hardened parallel-ground washers. The stud design provides a strong, consistent clamping connection between the cylinder head and engine block, making it well suited to engine rebuilds, performance builds, and applications where dependable cylinder-head sealing is important.

The kit uses ten application-specific studs in three lengths to match the factory 4A-GE cylinder-head mounting locations.
