Overview

AISIN was an original-equipment supplier to Toyota for this cooling-system application, giving owners an AISIN-branded OE-manufacturer replacement for the engine-driven mechanical fan system. The thermal viscous clutch varies fan engagement with cooling demand to support stable engine temperature without driving the fan at full speed continuously.

This 4WD four-cylinder application covers the factory 22R, 22RE, and 22R-TE configurations listed below. It does not fit 3.0L 3VZ-E V6 applications, which use a different fan clutch.
