Overview

AISIN is an original-equipment manufacturer of fan clutches for Toyota applications, giving owners an AISIN-branded replacement backed by OE cooling-system engineering. These thermal fan clutches regulate engine-driven fan speed as cooling demand changes.

Toyota used an early and later fan-clutch configuration across the 1979–1995 4WD Pickup four-cylinder range. Select the 1979–1981 configuration for 20R / 22R applications or the 1982–1995 configuration for the later 22R / 22RE / 22R-TE applications shown below.
