AISIN Clutch Slave Cylinder
For 1985–1989 U.S.-Market Toyota MR2 AW11 with 4A-GE and manual transmission
Overview
The AISIN clutch slave cylinder converts hydraulic pressure into movement at the clutch release fork. It replaces a leaking or worn cylinder while retaining the MR2's original supply-line and remote-bleeder arrangement.
AISIN manufactures its clutch hydraulics in OE production plants to original-equipment standards. This is a new AISIN-branded replacement for the naturally aspirated five-speed application.
Key Features
- Cast-iron body with vehicle-specific mounting geometry
- Two-bolt mounting for direct installation on the transmission
- Rubber sealing components and a protective pushrod boot
- Pushrod included with the cylinder assembly
- Separate connections for the clutch supply line and remote bleeder tube
Vehicle Fitment
All applications require: naturally aspirated 4A-GE and a C-series five-speed manual transmission.
Toyota MR2 (AW11 / MK1)
- 1985–1989 U.S.-Market
Fitment Notes
- Does not fit supercharged 4A-GZE models with the E51 transmission or automatic-transmission models.
- Engine or transmission conversions require matching the installed gearbox and clutch hydraulics rather than relying on chassis year alone.
- Damaged or corroded hydraulic lines, bleeder components and mounting hardware require separate repair or replacement.
