Overview
The Trail-Gear Rock Defense Rear Bumper is a heavy-duty tubular rear bumper for 1989–1995 Toyota Pickups in both 2WD and 4WD configurations.
Built from 1.75-inch OD x .120-inch-wall 1020 DOM steel tubing, the bumper provides durable rear protection for trail, off-road, and utility-focused builds. DOM construction provides increased dent resistance compared with conventional HREW tubing while eliminating the longitudinal welded seam found in HREW tube.
This bumper does not fit Long Bed Toyota Pickup models. The bumper arrives unpainted and lightly oiled for corrosion protection during shipping so the final finish can be selected during installation.

Material & Construction
The Rock Defense bumper uses DOM steel tubing for increased dent resistance and consistent structural construction compared with conventional HREW tubing.
The Pickup-specific bumper incorporates its frame-support structure into the assembly and does not use the separate rear bumper support kit intended for 4Runner applications.
Remove the protective shipping oil and properly prepare the bare steel before applying paint or powder coat.
