Overview
The Trail-Gear Rock Defense Rear Bumper is a heavy-duty tubular rear bumper designed specifically for 1984–1988 Toyota Pickups.
Constructed from 1.75-inch OD x .120-inch-wall 1020 DOM steel tubing, the bumper provides increased rear-body protection for trail and off-road use. The DOM construction offers greater dent resistance than conventional HREW tubing and eliminates the welded longitudinal seam found in HREW tube.
The bumper is supplied unpainted and lightly oiled for corrosion protection during shipping, allowing the final finish to be matched to the vehicle.

Material & Construction
The bumper uses 1020 DOM tubing rather than HREW tubing. DOM construction provides improved dimensional consistency and dent resistance while eliminating the welded seam found in HREW tube.
Before painting or coating, remove the protective shipping oil and thoroughly prepare the bare steel surface.
