Overview
The Trail-Gear Heavy Duty Driveline Kit is designed for Toyota Pickup and 4Runner off-road driveline applications that require increased slip travel and a stronger spline assembly.
The heavy-duty 16-spline shaft features splines that are 42% larger than Trail-Gear's previous driveline design, while a nylon-coated spline section helps reduce wear during repeated suspension movement. The long-slip design provides 10 inches of travel while maintaining a minimum 1-3/4-inch spline engagement.
A heavy-duty Matsuba U-joint is installed and secured with full-circle retaining rings. This driveline is intended for heavy-duty off-road use and is not recommended for street use.
