Overview
The Total Chaos Gen II Caddy Weld-On Shock Hoop Kit provides a reinforced upper mounting system for converting 1986–1995 Toyota 4Runner and Pickup 4WD front suspension to an 8-inch-travel, 2.5-inch coilover shock configuration.
Pre-bent 4130 chromoly main hoops, laser-cut reinforcement plates, support tubes, and gussets create a substantially stronger shock mounting structure than the factory arrangement. The system is designed for long travel suspension applications where proper coilover positioning and chassis reinforcement are required.
The shock hoops support King, FOX, and Sway-A-Way 2.5-inch coilovers and include provisions for secondary shocks and remote reservoirs, making the kit suitable for performance-oriented off-road suspension builds.

Reinforced Coilover Mounting System
The primary hoops are pre-bent from 4130 chromoly steel to position 8-inch-travel coilover shocks within the long travel suspension geometry.
CNC laser-cut cross-shaft plates and support components integrate the shock tower into the chassis. Frame overlay plates, upright supports, and gussets distribute suspension loads across a larger section of the frame rather than concentrating force at a single mounting point.
The kit also includes secondary shock tabs for dual-shock configurations and reservoir tabs for securely mounting remote reservoirs. These provisions allow the front suspension to be configured for additional damping control when paired with the appropriate shocks.
