Overview
The Total Chaos Heavy-Duty U-Bolt Relocation Plates are designed for Toyota 4WD rear suspension setups using 2.5-inch-wide aftermarket 62-inch leaf springs in a spring-under-axle configuration.
These reinforced rear U-bolt plates improve support at the axle and leaf spring mounting point while protecting the U-bolt nuts from trail and off-road impacts. A welded gusset strengthens each plate, while a recessed center-pin pocket helps locate the leaf spring and resist unwanted movement under suspension load.
Each plate is finished in black powder coat for corrosion resistance and installs as a bolt-on component when used with the specified spring-under suspension configuration.

Reinforced U-Bolt Plate Design
The U-bolt plates feature a gusseted steel construction designed to resist bending as the U-bolts are tightened and subjected to rear suspension loads.
A recessed pocket captures the leaf spring center pin, helping maintain the relationship between the spring and axle during acceleration, articulation, and off-road suspension cycling. The plate design also positions the U-bolt hardware to provide additional protection for the nuts beneath the axle.
