Overview
The Total Chaos 9-Inch Chromoly Rear Leaf Spring Shackles are heavy-duty suspension components designed for Toyota 4WD rear leaf spring systems using 2.5-inch-wide springs.
Constructed from 4130 chromoly tubing, the extended 9-inch shackles provide a reinforced connection between the rear leaf spring and chassis for off-road and custom suspension applications. The kit includes urethane bushings, inner and outer sleeves, and Grade 8 hardware for a complete pair.
These shackles require custom fabrication and suspension setup during installation. Proper shackle angle and rear suspension geometry are critical to safe operation.

Heavy-Duty Leaf Spring Shackle Design
The shackles are fabricated from 4130 chromoly tubing for increased strength in demanding rear suspension applications. Their 9-inch extended configuration is intended for custom leaf spring systems where additional shackle length is required as part of the suspension geometry.
Four supplied urethane bushings provide controlled movement at the mounting points, while the included inner and outer sleeves complete the shackle pivot assemblies.
Because extended shackles affect suspension geometry, installation should be based on the complete leaf spring setup rather than shackle length alone.
