Overview
The OEM-Style Tilt Steering Column Cover is a direct-fit replacement for Toyota 4Runner and Pickup models equipped with the factory tilt steering column. The upper and lower clamshell pieces restore the finished appearance around the steering column when the original plastic has cracked, broken, or become brittle with age.
This reproduction retains the factory-style shape and mounting configuration while strengthening common failure areas with a thicker internal structure, reinforced screw towers, and heavier alignment tabs.
Manufactured using industrial SLS 3D printing from glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide, the cover combines heat resistance, structural strength, and slight material flexibility for improved durability in an automotive interior environment.

Reinforced SLS Construction
The original steering column covers can become brittle after decades of heat, UV exposure, and repeated removal. This reproduction strengthens several areas that are commonly damaged during normal use and service.
The internal structure, screw towers, and alignment tabs are reinforced while retaining the original mounting layout. Industrial Selective Laser Sintering construction also allows the part to be produced from durable glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide rather than relying on aging original plastic.
Paint & Interior Color Matching
Each steering column cover is supplied in a raw black, gray, or white finish depending on the production batch and should be painted for an accurate match to the surrounding factory interior.
Recommended SEM interior colors include:
- Gray: Very Dark Pewter 17223
- Brown: Bluebird Brown 15483
- Red: Napa Red 15273
- Blue: Shadow Blue 15043
Proper surface preparation and interior-grade paint application are recommended for the best finished appearance.
