The super graphite metallic friction material operates across an applicable rotor temperature range of 300–800°C with a 0.42–0.55 μ friction coefficient. This high-temperature operating range makes the Club Racer RC09 well suited to dedicated track cars, time-attack builds, circuit-driven AE86s, and other motorsport applications.

These are race-focused brake pads rather than a street-oriented compound. For an AE86 primarily used for normal road driving, a lower-temperature street or street-performance pad is the more appropriate choice.
