Overview

The Project Kics Kyokugen Heptagon Lug Nut Set is a high-strength steel wheel-hardware upgrade for Toyota AE86 builds using M12 x 1.5 wheel studs and aftermarket wheels with 60° conical lug seats.

Each lug nut uses a seven-sided heptagon profile that requires the supplied matching adapter for installation and removal. The 42 mm closed-end construction provides an extended tuner-style appearance while helping shield the end of the wheel stud from dirt and moisture.

The set includes 20 lug nuts. A standard 4-lug AE86 requires 16 lug nuts, leaving four additional nuts as spares.

Heptagon Design & Wheel Compatibility

Unlike a conventional six-sided lug nut, the Kyokugen uses a seven-sided profile that cannot be removed with a normal hex socket. The included heptagon adapter is required for installation and removal, adding a useful theft-deterrent element without using separate locking lug nuts.

Wheel-seat compatibility is critical. These lug nuts use a 60° conical seat and are intended for aftermarket wheels designed around that seat style. Thread pitch alone does not determine whether a lug nut is suitable for a wheel.

Fitment Notes

• For aftermarket wheels using a 60° conical / tapered lug seat only.
• Do not use with factory wheels that require a different lug-seat design.
• Does not fit wheels designed for inverted or reverse-style lug hardware.
• Standard AE86 wheel configuration is 4-lug / 4x114.3, requiring 16 lug nuts for the vehicle.
• This 20-piece set therefore provides four additional spare lug nuts on a standard AE86.
