Overview

The Koyorad HH Series 48mm Aluminum Performance Radiator is a high-capacity direct-fit cooling upgrade for 1984–1995 Toyota Pickup models equipped with the naturally aspirated 2.4L 22R or 22RE engine and manual transmission.

Built around Koyorad's 48mm HH Series Hyper Core, this all-aluminum radiator uses increased tube and fin density to provide greater coolant capacity and heat-transfer capability than a conventional factory-style radiator. The upgraded core is well suited to daily driving, off-road use, overland builds, towing, hot climates, and other conditions that place increased demand on the cooling system.

Vehicle-specific mounting points allow the radiator to install in the factory location while retaining the original fan shroud and cooling-system layout.

48mm HH Series Hyper Core

The 48mm Hyper Core increases coolant volume and heat-transfer surface area while maintaining vehicle-specific fitment. Its high-density tube and fin arrangement is designed to efficiently transfer heat from the engine coolant into the passing airflow.

The additional cooling capacity is particularly useful during sustained engine loads, towing, high ambient temperatures, slow-speed trail driving, and off-road conditions where airflow through the radiator may be reduced.

This makes the HH Series a strong cooling upgrade for both stock and modified 22R and 22RE-powered Toyota Pickups.

All-Aluminum Construction

The radiator uses an all-aluminum core and tanks for efficient heat transfer and increased durability compared with conventional replacement radiators that use plastic end tanks.
