Overview
The K&N Washable High-Flow Engine Air Filter is a reusable drop-in replacement for the factory panel air filter used in fuel-injected 2.4L Toyota 4Runner and Pickup applications.
Constructed with multiple layers of pre-oiled cotton gauze filtration media, the filter is designed to improve airflow while capturing airborne contaminants before they enter the engine. It installs directly into the original rectangular air cleaner housing without replacing the factory intake system or requiring permanent modifications.
Unlike a disposable paper filter, the K&N panel filter can be cleaned, re-oiled, and reused throughout its service life.

Cleaning & Maintenance
The filter should be cleaned with an appropriate K&N filter-cleaning system and allowed to air dry completely before re-oiling.
After cleaning, the cotton gauze media must be properly re-oiled before installation. Vehicles regularly operated in dusty, sandy, muddy, or off-road environments should have the filter inspected more frequently than vehicles driven primarily on paved roads.
Do not use compressed air, gasoline, solvents, engine oil, or external heat to clean or dry the filter.
