Overview
The FUJITSUBO Legalis R W-Tail Powerful Sound Exhaust System is a vehicle-specific performance exhaust for the Toyota AE86 platform, including USDM Corolla Sport SR5 and GT-S models and JDM Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno models.
Designed for classic AE86 street and performance builds, the Legalis R combines stainless steel construction, 50.8 mm piping, and a distinctive dual 60.5 mm slash-cut W-Tail with a more aggressive exhaust character than the standard Legalis R configuration. It provides a period-correct Japanese appearance while improving exhaust flow through a mandrel-bent performance-oriented design.
This system gives SR5, GT-S, Levin, and Trueno owners a premium Japanese exhaust option without moving away from the traditional twin-tip styling associated with period AE86 builds.

Exhaust Design & Sound
The Legalis R Powerful Sound configuration is designed for AE86 owners who want a more pronounced exhaust character while retaining a traditional twin-tail muffler layout.
The system uses 50.8 mm piping feeding dual 60.5 mm slash-cut outlets. The twin-tip layout gives the exhaust a period-correct appearance that works particularly well with the classic rear styling of SR5, GT-S, Levin, and Trueno AE86 models.
Reference testing on the 4A-GE AE86 configuration produced the following sound measurements:
- Idle: 75 dB
- Proximity exhaust noise at 4,950 rpm: 100 dB
- 3,000 rpm: 93 dB
- 5,000 rpm: 93 dB
- 4,000–6,000 rpm: 108 dB
These figures are reference measurements from the tested 4A-GE configuration. Actual exhaust volume can vary with engine type, headers, catalytic converter configuration, upstream exhaust components, engine condition, and other vehicle modifications. SR5 models equipped with the 4A-C may produce different sound characteristics.
