Overview
The Dynamic Friction Company (DFC) True Balanced Rear Brake Drum is a direct-fit OE-style replacement for 1979–1983 Toyota Pickup RWD / 2WD 1-ton Cab & Chassis rear brake applications with a single rear wheel (SRW) configuration.
This heavy-duty 1-ton application uses a deeper rear brake drum than the standard 1/2-ton and 3/4-ton 2WD configurations. The drum features a 254 mm nominal braking diameter, 302.5 mm outside diameter, 78 mm overall height, 67 mm center bore, and 5-hole 114.3 mm bolt circle.
DFC's True Balanced design uses precision cutting and mill balancing to help minimize vibration and pedal pulsation. A black high-temperature coating provides corrosion protection while maintaining an OE-style replacement design.
