Overview

The CUSCO Safety21 6-point roll cage is a vehicle-specific steel chassis reinforcement system for USDM Toyota Corolla Sport GT-S and SR5 AE86 models with left-hand drive and a non-sunroof roof configuration.

Its six-point layout reinforces the front and rear cabin areas while using an around-dashboard design, routing the front A-pillar bars around the dashboard rather than through it. The cage also uses curved rear side bars designed around the rear seating area, creating CUSCO's 5-passenger-style configuration.

This configuration is well suited to GT-S and SR5 AE86 street, performance, drift, autocross, and track-oriented builds where increased chassis reinforcement is desired without choosing the more invasive through-dashboard cage configuration.

Around-Dash & 5-Passenger Design

The around-dashboard configuration routes the front cage bars around the sides of the dashboard rather than passing directly through it. This makes installation less invasive to the factory dashboard than CUSCO's competition-oriented through-dash configurations.

At the rear, curved rear side bars are used instead of the straight rear side bars found on CUSCO's 2-passenger versions. This provides additional clearance around the rear seating area and distinguishes this cage as the 5-passenger-style Safety21 configuration.
