Important Fitment Information
Although 1986–1995 Toyota Pickups and 1986–1989 Toyota 4Runners share the same Independent Front Suspension (IFS), Toyota changed the steering linkage design on later 4Runner models.
Direct Fit Applications
This steering damper is a direct bolt-on for:

1990–1995 Toyota 4Runner Owners
This steering damper is NOT compatible with 1990–1995 Toyota 4Runner models.
Toyota redesigned the steering center link on second-generation 4Runners, changing the steering stabilizer mounting configuration. This dampener uses the earlier tapered mounting pin found on Toyota Pickup and first-generation 4Runner steering linkage and will not directly install on second-generation 4Runner steering components.
Please verify your steering linkage before ordering if your vehicle has been modified or converted.
