Overview
The ARB Old Man Emu Leaf Spring Bushing Sleeve Reducer is a steel insert used at the front main eye of the rear leaf spring when installing applicable Old Man Emu leaf springs and polyurethane bushings with factory Toyota mounting hardware.
The sleeve installs inside the larger-diameter OME spring-eye bushing and reduces the opening to properly accept the factory 14 mm Toyota spring-eye bolt. This maintains the correct fit between the bushing, sleeve, mounting bolt, and front spring hanger.
One sleeve is used at the front eye of each rear leaf spring, so two sleeves are required to service both sides of the vehicle.

How the Sleeve Reducer Works
The front eye of each rear leaf spring mounts to a fixed frame hanger using the factory Toyota spring-eye bolt. The OME polyurethane bushing used in this location has a larger internal opening, requiring the reducer sleeve to properly interface with the factory 14 mm hardware.
The reducer is installed through the center of the polyurethane bushing before the spring-eye bolt is installed. The rear end of the leaf spring mounts through the shackle assembly and does not use this reducer sleeve.
