Overview
The ARB 50mm x 83mm Differential Carrier Bearing is a tapered roller bearing designed for Toyota 8-inch V6/Turbo-style rear differentials using a 50mm carrier journal and 83mm carrier-bearing bore.
This bearing is used to support the differential carrier while handling the combined radial and axial loads generated through the ring-and-pinion assembly. It is suitable for factory differential rebuilds, carrier replacement, ring-and-pinion installations, and ARB Air Locker installations that retain the 83mm bearing bore.
The bearing is available individually or as a pair. Two carrier bearings are required for a complete differential carrier installation.

Differential Compatibility
This bearing is designed for the Toyota 8-inch V6/Turbo-style third member using a 50mm differential carrier journal and 83mm carrier-bearing bore.
This is different from the bearing used when installing a 50mm-journal carrier into a standard 4-cylinder Toyota 8-inch third member. The 4-cylinder housing uses a smaller 80mm carrier-bearing bore and therefore requires the appropriate 50mm x 80mm conversion carrier bearing instead.
Because Toyota third members are commonly swapped between vehicles, verify the installed differential rather than relying solely on the vehicle's original engine or model year.
