Overview
The NGK Iridium IX Spark Plug Set provides an engine-specific ignition upgrade for classic Toyota 4A-C and AE86-era 4A-GE engines. Each configuration includes four Iridium IX spark plugs, providing a complete set for one 4-cylinder engine.
The fine-wire iridium center electrode is designed for consistent ignition, strong starting performance, stable idle, and dependable throttle response. A tapered-cut ground electrode helps improve flame propagation while reducing spark quenching.
Both configurations use an NGK heat range of 5, M14 x 1.25 threads, 19 mm reach, and a nominal 1.1 mm (.044 in.) gap, but the 4A-C and 4A-GE applications use different plug designs. Select the configuration that matches the engine.
