Overview
The Mishimoto Performance Aluminum Radiator is a direct-fit cooling upgrade for the rear-wheel-drive Toyota Corolla AE86. Designed for 1.6L applications, it replaces the factory-style radiator with a full-aluminum construction built around a two-row brazed core for improved heat transfer and dependable coolant-temperature control.
The radiator uses a 2.05-inch-thick aluminum core with TIG-welded construction and a 1.67-gallon coolant capacity. Its vehicle-specific design installs using the factory radiator location without cutting or permanent modification.
A 1.3-bar high-pressure radiator cap and magnetic drain plug are included, providing a complete performance radiator package for restored street cars, modified AE86 builds, drifting, autocross, and track-oriented applications.

Cooling Design
The two-row aluminum core provides a larger, durable heat-transfer surface compared with a conventional factory-style radiator construction. Full aluminum tanks and TIG-welded joints make the assembly well suited to performance-oriented AE86 cooling systems.
The included 1.3-bar radiator cap allows the cooling system to operate at increased pressure, helping raise the coolant's boiling point. A magnetic drain plug is also included to help collect small metallic particles circulating through the cooling system.
