Overview

The ARB Old Man Emu Nitrocharger Plus Front Shock Absorber is a vehicle-specific suspension upgrade for 1986–1995 Toyota 4Runner and Toyota Pickup 4WD models.

Designed for stock ride height through approximately 2 inches of front lift, the Nitrocharger Plus provides controlled damping for daily driving, towing, hauling, overlanding, rough roads, and off-road use. Its vehicle-specific tuning is designed to deliver predictable suspension control across changing terrain and vehicle loads.

Nitrocharger Plus Design

The Nitrocharger Plus uses a durable twin-tube construction designed to help protect the internal working cylinder from road debris and impacts in demanding driving environments.

Its nitrogen gas-charged design, high-flow piston, and multi-disc compression valving help maintain consistent damping during repeated suspension movement, including extended highway driving and off-road use.


Stock Height & Lift Compatibility

These shocks can be used at factory ride height or as part of a properly configured suspension system providing approximately 2 inches of front lift.

The shock itself does not lift the vehicle. Front ride height is determined by torsion-bar adjustment and the overall suspension configuration.

When paired with compatible components such as Old Man Emu torsion bars, the Nitrocharger Plus can be used as part of a complete OME mild-lift suspension setup.
