Saw a video of these no drill hood struts for 1st Gen Truck/4 Runner and found them online from Preserve Rad. I ordered and emailed Preserve Rad and they responded quickly and also provided tracking info. I received the struts quickly. I have not installed them yet. I think they will be a great addition to my vehicle.

My back window controller was damaged by water intrusion. This was the only way to get my back window operational again, and I appreciate the additional options that it has.

This literally took me 30 minutes, and I did not have to modify or drill into anything. It's a fun and easy mod to let the kiddo put their hand on the truck and not have anything catastrophic happen. The hood opens a little more than it would with the hood prop, which is nice but not enough to really notice. It works great and as should! I will be buying from these guys again!
