Saw a video of these no drill hood struts for 1st Gen Truck/4 Runner and found them online from Preserve Rad. I ordered and emailed Preserve Rad and they responded quickly and also provided tracking info. I received the struts quickly. I have not installed them yet. I think they will be a great addition to my vehicle.
My back window controller was damaged by water intrusion. This was the only way to get my back window operational again, and I appreciate the additional options that it has.

This literally took me 30 minutes, and I did not have to modify or drill into anything. It's a fun and easy mod to let the kiddo put their hand on the truck and not have anything catastrophic happen. The hood opens a little more than it would with the hood prop, which is nice but not enough to really notice. It works great and as should! I will be buying from these guys again!

These are 3D-printed rear seat hinge covers specifically designed for 1984-1989 1st Gen Toyota 4Runners equipped with OEM rear seat hinges. Made from durable ABS plastic—the same material as the original OEM covers—they are brand new and built to last. To enhance durability, we’ve reinforced the weak mounting clips that often break on the original parts. These covers are a direct-fit replacement, requiring no modifications, and they maintain the original look and functionality.
Important: Before purchasing, please ensure that your vehicle has OEM rear seat hinges. You can identify them by checking the face of the hinge for two distinct holes: one rectangular and the other a combination of a circle and a rectangle. If your vehicle has aftermarket hinges without these holes, these covers will not fit.
